What is Included in Our Services

Wrapping & Custom Packing

  • TV's and Monitors

    Wrapped, protected and packed in a special designed boxes in accordance with their size.

  • Mattresses

    Wrapped and placed in a special plastic mattress cover.

  • Sofas and Chairs

    Wrapped and protected using moving blankets and shrink wraps.

  • Artwork, Paintings, small Mirrors and Lamps

    Double wrapped and placed in a special designed boxes in accordance with their size.

  • Glass and Marble pieces

    All delicate pieces will be double wrapped, cardboard crated and placed in a special boxes.

  • Hanging Clothes

    All the hanging clothes will be packed in our wardrobe boxes.

Disassembling & Dismounting

  • Tables and Desks

    All items will be disassembled if needed and assembled back in your new place.

  • Dressers and Armoires

    *Additional cost may apply for armories with more than two doors.

  • TV's

    Dismounting all of your TV' is included.

    *Tv mounting at additional cost.

  • Sofas and Couches

    Taking apart sectional sofas/couches and removing the legs.


    *Additional Services of Sofa Doctor can be provided upon request.

  • Bed Frames

    Taking apart any size of any bed is included in our services. 


    *Assembling of the Basic Frames is included.


    *Additional charge may apply for Murphy Bed and Special Storage Beds

Travel, Labor Expenses & Fees

  • Labor

    Team of x movers with the size of the truck in accordance with your needs, for unlimited hours (time not a factor).

    Our team will take time to carefully protect your belongings.


    At the drop-off we will reassemble (Put back together) all the furniture pieces that we took apart and place all the items in a room of your choice.

  • Travel and Fees

    Fuel, millage, zone & tolls are included in our prices if the locations are correctly provided to the representative upon booking.

  • Fully Insured Moving Service

    We include different options/levels of insurance protection.

  • What do I need to get started?

    To get started with the best movers in New York City, simply fill out our online form. We'll ask you some basic questions about your move and then provide you with a free quote. 


    Once you've decided to use our services, we'll start making all the arrangements for you. We'll handle everything from packing up your belongings to loading them onto our trucks. All you need to do is relax and let us take care of everything!

On-Site / Video Estimates 

You can choose an ON-SITE estimate where our experienced representatives will visit your location to assess your requirements in person, ensuring an accurate quote. 


ON-SITE estimate is a genuinely good option which we would definitely suggest especially when dealing with large moves and delicate items such as glass, marble, some unique antique pieces or an abundance of furniture that may be challenging to describe accurately over the phone.

On-site estimates allow our team to assess the unique requirements of your move firsthand, ensuring that we provide the most precise moving solutions to protect and safely transport your valuable belongings. 

Alternatively, we also provide VIDEO estimates allowing you to showcase your space via video call, making the process of getting a quote even more convenient. 


Here at Avant-Garde we prioritize transparency and flexibility to ensure stress-free moving experience for our valued customers - We will provide an honest, upfront flat rate that we will stick with.

COI (Certificate of Insurance)

If you’re moving in or out of the apartment building, your building may require your moving company to submit a Certificate of Insurance (COI) before the movers can even step inside it. 


COI legacy protects buildings in case of any damages and building management often requires documentation and proof of insurance to ensure moving company is properly covered.


COI is included in our rates and all you have to do is send us a sample/coi requirements from the building management.
